A few of our recent projects.
DOUGLAS SHOAL ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION PROJECT, DOUGLAS SHOAL

When coal carrier Shen Neng 1 ran aground in April 2010, it caused extensive damage to Douglas Shoal. With an impact area of more than 40 hectares, the site bears the largest ship grounding scar known in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, and possibly the largest reef-related impact in the world.

 

18T PROPELLOR SALVAGE, HAY POINT

Amongst other salvages including 2x 12T ship anchors, our task involved searching for the propellor using our Klein 3000 towfish. Once located, Subsea Pty Ltd was tasked to carry out the successful salvage.

PONTOON SALVAGE, MACKAY

After Cyclone Debbie devastated East Coast Queensland in 2017, numerous pontoons were damaged and sunk to the seabed. Subsea Pty Ltd completed the successful salvage in the Mackay Harbour.

AMSA – YM EFFICIENCY CONTAINER SEARCH

Subsea Pty Ltd was awarded the contract to search and locate all 75 containers which were lost at sea in 120mtrs of water using our Klein 3000 covering an area of 800 square kilometres. For more information on the operation, please visit our media page.

BULWER PIPELINE BP TERMINAL, BRISBANE RIVER

Subsea Pty Ltd was engaged to carry out pile remediation works for BP at their Brisbane terminal.
