Discovery of the SS Nemesis

Subsea is proud to have been involved in the discovery of the SS Nemesis, 120 years after it sank due to a huge storm.

Whilst undertaking a project to search for lost containers, using a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) and a sonar, Subsea detected a large object on the sea bed and decided to investigate further. It became apparent that the object was a shipwreck, and working together with the CSIRO and Heritage NSW, it was identified as the SS Nemesis.
